Sausalito Tour
Sausalito in Spanish means a small willow grove. Sausalito was originally the auxiliary port for San Francisco in the early 1850's. Once the home of Sally Stanford, the onetime mayor of Sausalito and San Francisco Madame as well as Baby Faced Nelson; American Gangster. Now it has blossomed into a quaint little town. It is just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. Here in Sausalito you can wander the picturesque streets and visit the many shops. Whether it is art at Gallery Judith Engelstad or at Gene Hillers Fine Clothing, or just browsing the town has it all. Not to mention the great dining establishments. Sit outside above the water overlooking the beautiful San Francisco skyline.
