Muir Woods and Stinson Beach

Travel north towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Take in the breath taking views of the surrounding area while traveling up and over Mt. Tamalpaius, dropping into Muir Woods National Forrest. Take a leisurely walk amongst the Sequoia Sempervirens (Giant Redwoods).A short trip will take you to Stinson Beach. Here the view alone will help to inspire a hearty appetite. Once you have had your fill of nature you can return toward Sausalito and enjoy the quaint town along the shores of Richardson Bay while viewing the city and the shops.
